Joe Krown Solo Piano

Joe Krown is also famous in New Orleans as a solo piano performer. Joe has been performing regular weekly shows at local New Orleans nightclubs since the late 1990s. Thru the years he's had regular nights as a solo piano performer at New Orleans nightclubs like the Maple Leaf Bar, Le Bon Temps, the Jazz Playhouse, Dos Jefes, Buffas Bar and Ralph Brennan Restaurants (Ralph's on the Park and Redfish Grill). He's been a regular performer at the WWOZ Piano Night since 1997. He's toured Germany and Spain playing boogie woogie festivals and concerts. He's played piano festivals all over the U.S. and one of the highlights of his career was being on tour as a solo pianist opening shows for Mavis Staples and Charlie Musselwhite (2007).
His solo piano shows are a mix of New Orleans piano music, stories about the history of the music and tales of Joe's adventures throughout his long career.
